Sourcing Auditor: 8-12 years of IT / BPO Sourcing Experience (USA)

Responsibility includes leading large sourcing audit engagements and leading client teams in support of contract governance initiatives. Additionally the Sourcing Auditor will be coordinating, assisting and leading the development of initial assessments, audit plans, service provider discussions, financial modeling, presentations, contract negotiations, and post audit execution actions.

  • Provides audit services to clients in areas of IT / BPO sourcing – Hardware, Software, Data Centers, Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing, Application Development, Application Management, Systems Integration, Data Governance, Project Management.
  • Possesses complete understanding of Sourcing Life Cycle -Stakeholder management, Sourcing strategies, RFX Event management, Vendor Down selection, Contract Structuring, Contract Negotiation, Incumbent Service Provider relationship, Summarizing Reports and Issue Management.
  • Possesses complete understanding of Contract Life Cycle– Contract Strategy, Contract Structuring & Negotiation and Contract Governance. Particularly Contract Compliance, Contract Optimization and Contract Continuous Improvement
  • Familiarity with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Transformation, Information Technology, e-Sourcing, Project Management, Negotiation, Category Management, Supplier Management, IT Legal, Inventory Management, Spend Management and Strategic Planning
  • Directly interacts with client stakeholders and service provider executives.
  • Independently develops audit plans customized to meet client contracts as well as estimates staffing, task duration and audit requirements.
  • Develops medium to large complex financial models and possesses thorough knowledge of IT budgets, funding process, corporate finance, invoice cycle, ROI and TCO models.
  • Develops the financial, statement of work, service level and contract terms portions of the SOW.
  • Leads audit work basis Auditors Framework and identifies audit gaps and areas developing suitable recommendation.
  • Develops execution strategy or tactics to bridge audit gaps and meet client-desired outcome.
  • Leads the Audit Execution deliverable and assumes overall responsibility for staffing, budget, work plans, scope, project milestones, issues management and risk management utilizing Sourcing Auditors Framework methods, tools and templates.
  • Responsible to generate client revenues and manage projects which generates client revenue.
  • Expert presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.

Education:

  • MBA or other advanced degree(s) desirable
  • CSA, CPM, CISA, COP and COP-GOV are a big plus

Travel:

  • 25% - 50% required
  • Remote working wherever possible

Computer Literacy:

  • Demonstrates working knowledge with MS-Office suite of software applications and tools, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, MS-Outlook.
